Thank you for your interest in HanamiCon.

Would you like to report on Hanamicon as a journalist, blogger or photographer?

Press accreditation can be obtained by

Accreditation for HanamiCon is only granted to journalists, bloggers and photographers who

  • make the material available afterwards so that we can use it for advertising purposes or similar (unsolicited, within one month after the event).
  • attend the event for the purpose of editorial reporting and demonstrate a direct connection to the topics of HanamiCon.
  • work on behalf of media that are established in the correlating sectors.
  • report on the event for daily newspapers, magazines, press agencies, radio, online magazines, blogs, YouTube channels.

What regulations apply to social media?

  • The social media channel must be established in the industry
  • The social media channel is used for editorial reporting through text, photos and / or film.
  • Editorial articles relevant to the event target group are regularly published on the social media channel in words, images and / or film.
  • HanamiCon must be named as the organizer for all contributions.

What regulations apply to photographers?

  • Photos may only be taken for the purpose of journalistic reporting. Any further commercial exploitation is excluded.
  • The material may not be used to illustrate or promote events other than HanamiCon.
  • The photographer shall ensure that the personal rights of private individuals are not violated.
  • HanamiCon must be named as the organizer for all contributions.
  • When photographing the stage program, please make sure to keep the space free for our social media/photo and video team.

What regulations apply to video recordings?

  • Filming is only permitted in the context of journalistic reporting. Any further commercial exploitation is excluded.
  • Video recordings of exhibitors are permitted after consultation with HanamiCon.
  • HanamiCon must be named as the organizer for all contributions.
  • The live transmission of events or parts of events is generally prohibited. Exceptions must be agreed with HanamiCon (e.g. live announcements)
  • Only excerpts from the stage program may be published. When filming the stage program, please make sure to keep the space free for our social media/photo and video team.
  • The cameraman/producer must ensure that the personal rights of private individuals are not violated.
  • HanamiCon must be named as the organizer for all contributions.

General information:

  • Interviews with guests of honor (cosplay, voice actor bands) are only permitted with prior consultation and subject to availability. Please just send us a short e-mail.
  • Please send us the links to the report, photos etc. by e-mail after the event so that we can add them to our library and include them in future accreditation requests.
  • We only have a limited number of press tickets. Therefore, we cannot accept every request. We process requests according to relevance: This means that smaller projects may also be accepted, although we occasionally turn down larger projects. Even small projects have the chance to be interviewed by guests of honor! Just ask us!

We reserve the right to cancel accreditation requests without giving reasons. Possible reasons for a rejection could be, for example, minor relevance for us or press accreditations in the past where no reports were produced.
